The Happy Chihuahuas' family members are overjoyed today!
America has hope again for the first time in many, many years!
There's a lot of work to do, but we CAN make America a place to be proud of again.

I could not agree more with all of you happy chihuahua's about there finally being hope for the country again! Yesterday when I woke up I felt a renewed sense of pride, that the US will have respect in the world, and there will be more peace and open discussions. Obama could not inherit more of a mess, but thankfully, he has united so many Americans to help make our country a place we can all be proud of again. :) Yes, We Can! Look for good things to come!

Thanks, Alice! I also woke up the morning after the election with a sense of excitement and responsibility...It was also the first time in my life that I realized that millions of other people were likely to be sharing the same sense of optimism. It was also the first time I felt like I was sharing the same emotions with people of all races in America, as well as with many around the world. It was an incredible feeling of humanity.
